You thought that all you had to do was learn how to graph lines in algebra? What fun would that be- lines are boring! So to make algebra interesting we expect students to be able to graph quadratic equations. Quadratic equations have U shaped graphs called “parabolas”. The top or bottom location of this “U” graph is called the vertex- it’s a (x, y) point and you need to learn how to find it. With all of this in mind the notes below explain the steps to actually graph a quadratic equation- enjoy!
