In this lesson I will teach you how to multiply matrices. This can be really confusing for students the first time they see this so I would plan to review the lesson a few times. In the previous lesson we looked at matrix operations with the exception of multiplication. Matrix multiplication is different than scalar multiplication and much more involved. I don’t think the procedure is difficult it’s just that you need to focus and concentrate. If you’re not paying close attention to your work these problems can easily go wrong- even for me and I’ve been doing this stuff for 30+ years! There are a few key properties you need to learn about matrix multiplication so take good notes. I can’t stress enough how important it is to practice this skill neatly and with patience. Good luck you can do it!
