In this lesson I will teach you how to solve a system using Cramer’s Rule. I really like this method of solving systems and it’s a littler easier than solving systems using the inverse matrix. You need to really understand how to calculate determinants so please review if you need to. As you will see in the lesson Cramer’s Rule is just a simple formula that uses the values in a system to form determinants. We take these various determinants and find the solution to a system. The notation and work can get very involved so you need to be extra neat and organized. At this point in math you will have learned several ways to solve a system to include the graphing method, the substitution method, the linear combination method, the inverse matrix method and now finally Cramer’s Rule- wow! that is cool!!!
