In this lesson I will teach you the fundamentals of graphing functions. As you learn more math especially advance mathematics you will be required to graph more complex functions. Although you will learn an exact procedure to graph many specific functions the basic concepts of this lesson will apply for all functions. For example you may know how to graph a parabola but what happens to that function’s graph if you shift it up or down on the x/y plane or move it side to side. These movements are called “translations” and it’s a big part of what we will be studying. Moreover these concepts apply to all functions so you want to study hard and get to know them. Like always take good notes and practice- graph paper is high recommended for exercises.
