In this lesson we will study compound inequalities. Please make sure you watch my lesson on linear inequalities before starting this lesson. A compound inequality is basically two linear inequality problems all wrapped up into one expression. The steps we take to solve a compound inequality are very similar to those of solving equations- hence make sure you have strong equation solving skills as well. Lastly we like to express the solution to an inequality in terms of a graph so make sure you finish all problems by sketching a graph
